About Me

As a Midwest, American born Latina woman Kendell Lopez represents the diversity the nation has become. Hailing from Independence, Missouri, Lopez is a strong representative of the American Dream. She became interested in racing when she was just 12 years old. One Summer vacation, her dad participated in the Richard Petty driving school in Disney World and from that day forward she was hooked.

In 2009 she became the first female to win the Pole Position at Toyota Speedway of the Irwindale inaugural class of S2 division series cars. In the 2009 season she had 6 top 5 and 8 top 10 finishes along with several Hard Charger Award, closing the

season 4th in Championship series points.

In 2010 Kendell started the season off with High Point Racing for the first two races bringing a top 5 and top 10 finishes. She later changed to Tony Porto Racing in which she concluded her season with 8 more top 5 and 12 more top 10 finishes along with many more Hard Charger Awards. She finished the season in 4th place in the Championship series again.

Kendell has continued honing her skills and will now be driving with Team Venturini in the ARCA Series to achieve her long track license in 2014 and compete in the Nascar Nationwide Series in 2015.
